I was born in Scotland and have lived in Guernsey for over 20 years. I was a mental health nurse, then worked in local business. My focus now is my family, my community.. and my writing! In my spare time you'll find me and my dog on one of Guernsey's gorgeous beaches.

As a parent and a former mental health nurse I feel passionate about giving children the best possible start in life... so I have given free copies of my books to many primary schools, childcare professionals and charities here in Guernsey and the UK. I know this is just a small gesture but if my book helps even one child or family I'm genuinely happy with that!
Around 100,000 children under 5 in the UK never do learning activities with their parents, so the Literary Trust and the UK Government launched a campaign to help introduce reading into their daily routines.
